TIBET ART NOW – Amsterdam

Tibet art now tibet script

August 6, 2015 started the event on Tibetan contemporary art at the NDSM shipyard in Amsterdam. This unique exhibition showed international leading contemporary Tibetan artists with censored artworks; because of political or religious issues, the conflict between identity, traditions, spirituality and existence.

And the power of beauty.

NOMADS CONNECTED

HOW TO ADJUST TRADITIONS TO NEW REALITIES / HOLDING ON TO ANCIENT VALUES OR CHANGE TO CONTEMPORARY CONNECTIVITY… HOW TO BE RECOGNIZED IN FUTURE TIMES.

GLOBAL CONNECTIVITY VERSUS LOCAL RELEVANCE

Is it the things we say or the thing we want to hear? Is the expression of the difference meant for the opponent or to convince the own community. Maybe because we share so much, it is more easy to enlarge the difference

Freedom is about expression. Expression is about identity. Identity is about recognition.
